Last night the low was 36....we all slept in a few layers of clothes. We biked from Paw Paw to the Little Pool campground around 38 miles, this was our biggest day yet.

| Claire and Neil in the Chariot behind the bike |
We stopped in the late afternoon in Hancock and found a playground that the kids LOVED! Claire found a little friend and they walked around holding hands. He came and asked me if he could introduce Claire to his mom--so cute. Neil was not too fond of Claire's new friend and ran behind them calling "my cway, my cway". He was lonely. We often get asked if they are twins--especially if they are in Chariot. We got a pizza from Pizza Hut and ate at the park then pedaled (Laura pulled the Chariot today) into dusk both kids asleep when we arrived at our campsite.
The sun sets right at 6:30

Biked to Fort Frederick for a brunch of pancakes at the playground. Fort Frederick is a stone fort built in the the 1700's. Saw some musket demonstrations. Our frequent campmate John from FL was at our campsite along the trail again tonight at Cumberland Valley where the low is expected to be around 45.

| These are the pumps to get water along the C&O Trail. They are located around every 7 miles. |
The sun sets at 6:30 pmso we have to push to get to the campsites before dark.
